About Metis Football

Metis Football is a data-driven football intelligence platform covering 24 leagues worldwide. We build statistical models based on expected goals (xG), team form, and structural match characteristics to identify where market odds diverge from the underlying probabilities.

The model

Our core model is a Dixon-Coles Poisson framework augmented with xG data. Rather than relying solely on goals scored, we use shot quality metrics to build a more accurate picture of team strength. The model is trained separately for each league and updated continuously throughout the season.

What we publish

We publish match previews, standings, and a free picks archive across all 24 covered leagues. Previews focus on qualitative directional analysis — we describe what the model sees without publishing raw probabilities or edge figures.

Free picks are published after kick-off with verified results. We show everything — wins and losses — so you can judge the track record transparently.
